Ladies’ committee:

Simultaneous with opening the sanatorium, a committee composed of some benevolent ladies including physicians, teachers, housekeepers, and…declared its readiness to help the aged and established benevolent ladies’ committee with the responsibility of Mrs. Sabaghzadeh. It began its activity at 1380 (Mordad month) with 12 members and increased to 20 members at the end of 1380 and now, after 7 years, it has above 150 members. The sanatorium is like their home and they spare no effort. They come together at Tuesdays two times per month, become aware of the sanatorium problems, offer new solutions to help the aged, and undertake some of sanatorium charges by their cash contributions.
